Parent and community involvement is at the heart of GJA. From classroom helpers and library assistants to event committees and fundraising teams, there’s a place for everyone to make a difference. Support our community
Parent Committee (H.U.M.)
HUM has three main goals: to build community within the school, support teachers and enhance students’ learning, and raise funds for special programs and activities. All parents with a student at Jewish Academy of Orlando are members of HUM. Your participation helps create pride in our school and benefits our children. Volunteers provide opportunities to get to know each other and strengthen our community. HUM participation is a valuable contribution to your child’s school experience and models the highest values of Judaism.
